About Kristin

Where Stillness Speaks

Kristin Lockyer is a Canadian-born artist now living in Hereford, England, where she has made her home for the past twenty years. Painting has been a constant thread throughout her life — something she has returned to again and again, not out of ambition, but out of pure love for the craft.

Her work is quiet, atmospheric and deeply felt. Whitewashed crofts standing alone on golden moorland. Brooding Highland skies. A child at a doorway. A boat at rest on still water. Kristin paints the moments in between — the pauses, the silences, the places where the world seems to hold its breath.

The Scottish Highlands run through her work like a vein of something ancient and personal. Her grandmother was Scottish, her family roots reach deep into the Highlands, and though she grew up in Canada, that landscape has always felt like somewhere she belongs.

Kristin paints alongside a busy working life, finding her way to the canvas whenever time allows. Her originals sell quickly. Prints are available in sizes A5 through A1 on premium fine art paper.

To bring a moment of stillness into everyday spaces. Each painting begins as a personal response to landscape, memory and light — and each print is an invitation to carry that quietness home. Kristin’s work exists to remind us that beauty is often found in the simplest, most overlooked places.

Every print is produced to the highest standard on premium fine art paper, because Kristin believes the integrity of the original should be honoured in every reproduction. Sustainability, quality and a genuine connection between artist and collector sit at the heart of everything — from the first brushstroke to the moment a print arrives at your door.
